According to the American Dietetic Association, children are not eating the recommended amounts of fruits and vegetables, a major source of vitamins. Many companies have attempted to help children get more vitamins in the form of gumballs, chewable cartoon characters, vitamin-fortified cereals, juice and even purple salad dressing. The problem is, most of these foods are loaded with sugar. Children may like the taste, but you won't like the ingredients. So how can you keep you child healthy without the sugar high?
