July 19, 2004 By: Dawn Ostensen EU Directives explained aid consumers understanding herbal remediesIn response to public request, Consumers for Health Choice has reconstructed its Web site to provide simple and up to date information to consumers about the threats to their vitamins, minerals, herbal remedies and other supplements. Thanks to the generous contribution from Neways International Inc. CHC has been able to carry out this work without dipping into the hard won campaigning funds. The new site deals with major issues; Vitamins & Minerals. Herbal Medicines, Fortified Foods, Sports Nutrition, Code of Medicine, and finally CODEX. Campaign details are featured, so too are clear and simple ways consumers can get involved in Saving Our Supplements. Harry Masterton-Smith, CHC Chairman is delighted with the new site. He commented we have wanted to upgrade the site for a long time and to keep it up to the moment. Unfortunately, we just did not have the resources either in terms of time of funds. We are all most grateful to Neways for their contribution, we now have a site that will be if great benefit to consumers, retailers and practitioners. Also see: homeopathy medicine. About
